Brief info

Ron lives in Port McNeill, B.C., Canada, and attended Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo for Jazz, Western Washington University for Jazz, and Simon Fraser University for Education. He taught grades 3 to 6 and music for 32 years in Port McNeill and has had the opportunity to play bass guitar with Juno Award winners such as Valdy and Brad Turner. He also taught music to singers like Clifton Murray from The Tenors.

He has played piano, guitar, and bass guitar for over 45 years and is currently a bass transcriber and music copyist for The Bassment (www.thebassment.info
). Just a few of his influences include recording artists such as Sade, Jamiroquai, FourPlay, Rush, James Jamerson, and Jaco Pastorius.
