Host, Felicia Fischhoff, RP (she/her) is a Jamaican-Canadian therapist, advocate, and founder of Rooted in Resilience Psychotherapy & Wellness An Ontario-based clinic providing culturally
responsive mental health care for racialized and marginalized communities. With a
compassionate, trauma-informed approach, Felicia specializes in trauma, racial trauma, PTSD,
family dynamics, and relationship challenges, always honoring the unique lived experiences of
her clients. Her work is deeply rooted in cultural awareness and the belief that healing begins
with affirming and safe spaces where individuals can reclaim their narratives and build
emotional resilience.
Beyond her clinical practice, Felicia has spent over a decade in the nonprofit sector, co-founding a charitable organization that supports survivors of sex trafficking. Her advocacy has amplified the voices of survivors and dismantled systemic barriers to healing, making a lasting impact on community well-being. Whether through therapy, advocacy, or public engagement, Felicia is committed to empowering individuals, fostering resilience, and championing justice in mental health care.
